The Damage Billing Coordinator plays a key role in the organization to support the sales team, the accounting team, and our customers at PTR. This role will need to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure we are accurately billing our customers on time. In addition, this role will need to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong administrative and organizational skills are required. 

COMPENSATION

This position has a competitive compensation package that is a combination of hourly base pay plus profit sharing paid quarterly after 1 year of employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify all damage, abuse, and over mileage is captured on returned units from customers
• Write damage estimates in Mitchell for rental returns recovering and capturing all potential billable costs.
• Coach check-in employees to follow damage billing standards and communicate any standard changes to all affected internal departments as well as follow up when those standards are not being followed.
• Complete damage billing workshop orders within 30 days.
• Create damage invoices with correct lines and submit to accounting within 30 days.
• Issue credit memos.
• Maximize profit of damage billing operations and improve upon department KPIs.
• Be responsible for and report on the status of open, closed & damage repair order.
• Directly Reports to Outside Yards Manager.

• STRONG skills in Microsoft Suite of Products – Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Resourcefulness, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
• Ability to think and work independently and be process-oriented.
• Can handle fast-paced, at times stressful environments when large orders come in with tight deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize and effectively complete project-based tasks by their deadline.
• Thrives in a teamwork-based environment. We win together, we lose together!
• Extremely detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Strong understanding of Mitchell and/or other damage billing system.
