Hiring for experienced and entry level installers and technicians in the Structured Cabling Industry - Pittsburgh Area

Premier Technology Systems, LLC (PTS) specializes in the installation and upgrade of telecommunications systems. PTS concentrates on voice and data communications across standard copper and fiber networks. We provide the expertise needed to implement voice and data applications, project management, and telecommunications analysis. We specialize in new office setups, office relocations, and maintenance / upgrades to current telecommunications systems.

Job Duties include - Installation of Category 5E, Category 6, and Category 6A Cabling, Fiber Optic Cable Installation and Fiber Optic Fusion Splicing, Data Center Infrastructure, Testing and mapping of existing Cabling Infrastructure and Closet Clean-up, Demo of existing cabling infrastructure as well as Paging System Installation. Occasional travel is required.

Requirements: High School Graduate; able to carry, climb and work from various types of ladders; carry 80 lbs of equipment/material; work from aerial lifts from time to time; basic knowledge of power and hand tools; verbal skills are a must; ability to accurately complete paperwork.

A Driver's history and background check is completed prior to consideration for employment. Must be able to pass a physical as well as pre-employment and random drug screens.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
