Premier Talent Partners is Hiring an Event Coordinator Near Oakland, CA

Job Duties

  • Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
  • Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
  • Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
  • Understand requirements for each event
  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
  • Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints


Job Requirements

  • A proven track record of organizing successful events
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of basic recruitment practices
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
  • Able to handle stress and remain calm
  • Problem-solving ability


Job Highlights

  • Over 2 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role including but not limited to restaurant, retail, and/or office experience
  • The ability to provide a seamless guest experience for our community members and corporate customers during events
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn the Tripleseat platform.
  • The ability to monitor conference room reservations and JIRA tickets.
  • 6-month contract
