Premier Talent Partners is Hiring an Event Coordinator Near Oakland, CA
Job Duties
- Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
- Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
- Understand requirements for each event
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
- Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
Job Requirements
- A proven track record of organizing successful events
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent vendor management skills
- Knowledge of basic recruitment practices
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
- Able to handle stress and remain calm
- Problem-solving ability
Job Highlights
- Over 2 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role including but not limited to restaurant, retail, and/or office experience
- The ability to provide a seamless guest experience for our community members and corporate customers during events
- Knowledge of or ability to learn the Tripleseat platform.
- The ability to monitor conference room reservations and JIRA tickets.
- 6-month contract
