Premier Rehabilitation is Hiring a Patient Experience Representative Near Howell, MI

Premier Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and team oriented individual to join our Patient Experience Representative team. Established in 2015 by Tyler Wilson and Jeffrey Cook, Premier Rehabilitation has grown to 5 locations in Haslett, Holt, Lansing (Frandor), Grand Ledge and Howell. We pride ourselves as a “Patient First” organization and strive to provide an outstanding customer experience. We have become the industry leading provider for physical therapy in the Lansing area and seek an exceptional individual to join our ever-growing team.

Job Type: Part Time, 30-35 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

  • To ensure patients are utilizing both mobile check in and mobile pay
  • To greet patients and direct them to their treatment area.
  • To collect copays at the beginning of each appointment.
  • To ensure that all patient information is accurate and complete and request any missing patient information.
  • To obtain and review referrals and other medical records.
  • To create both paper and electronic copies of documentation.
  • To work with personal information and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • To make adjustments to patient appointments to ensure optimal schedule flow.
  • To inform patients of their insurance benefits at the initial evaluation.
  • To scribe medical notes for therapists
  • To clean and prep treatment areas as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to a variety of situations
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours per day
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
