Customer service oriented out-patient Physical Therapy Clinic seeking dynamic, friendly, energetic Physical Therapy Technician to join our team part-time. Previous experience as a physical therapy tech / aide preferred. Monday-Friday morning shift. Bilingual (English / Spanish) referred. Competitive hourly wage.

Duties may include, but are not limited, to:

• Preparing patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, and/or assisting patient into physical therapy area.
• Providing information to patients by answering questions and requests.
• Helps treat patients by applying cold/heat packs, ESU; helping patients onto exercise equipment; monitoring motion; tracking walking time and distance; performing PT prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.
• Educating patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
• Maintaining patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Providing equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies to treatment area; positioning equipment for therapist access; positioning patient on equipment.
• Light daily cleaning duties.
• Updates job knowledge by continued learning on the job; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
