**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support and care to individuals with mental health disorders and developmental disabilities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Implement mental health counseling techniques
- Utilize behavioral therapy strategies
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology
- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Provide care for geriatric patients
- Understand psychopharmacology principles
- Assist in case management tasks
- Utilize coding for documentation purposes
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Apply cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
**Requirements:**
ALC License for Medicaid and contracts, LPC's, LCSW's for Medicaid and other insurances.
- Previous experience in mental health or related field preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy methods
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and geriatric patients
