Job Description:

Hourly wage $20.28 - $25.34 based on experience.
Experience and Skills:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development, implementation, and updating of training programs. Ensures employee functions are trained in accordance with established Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides training to all entry level staff to ensure proficient performance of job duties
  • Develops training material for various programs
  • Evaluates and updates training programs, manuals, and materials regularly to ensure they are fulfilling the Credit Union’s needs
  • Revises design of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness
  • Evaluate operations’ policies and procedures, while making suggestions for improved processes
  • Participates in needs analysis studies to determine training needs within the organization
  • Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works
  • Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training
  • Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods
  • Keeps management informed of area activities, training concerns, and of any significant problems
  • Provides assistance to branch personnel as necessary
  • Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
  • Provide employee onboarding, Credit Union culture/ Brand Awareness for all new hires
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to; The Bank Secrecy Act, The Patriot Act, and The Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Thorough knowledge of credit union procedures, products, services, and policies
  • Living the Credit Union Philosophy and Core Values
  • Familiarity with differences in branch functions
  • Understanding of training and development processes

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
