Premier Landscape Management is Hiring a Tree Trimmer Near Punta Gorda, FL

Job Summary:
We are looking to fill multiple full time tree trimmers. Our crews work 40hrs/week, Mondays-Thursdays.

We participate in E-Verify.

We are a drug free workplace.

Required Duties:

  • Trimming of Pygmy Date Palms on our shrub trimming crews.
  • Trimming of all other palms/hardwood trees on our tree trimming crews.
  • Climbing using extension and a-frame ladders, use of articulated lifts when necessary, we do NOT use bucket trucks.
  • Operating and feeding chippers.
  • Use gas powered equipment, chainsaws, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.
  • Use hand and mechanical landscaping tools.
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Bend, twist, and squat repeatedly.
  • Work in extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, wet, and dusty conditions for long periods of time.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. from the ground.
  • Wear long pants, hat, and enclosed boots. PPE along with company shirts will be provided to you.

Non-required skills, but preferred:

  • Landscape experience. Pay rate is based on experience.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
