The Premier Interventional Radiology Clinic is looking for a receptionist/medical scheduler to work on an "as needed" basis. This person should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multi-task, be organized and able to get things done, be self-motivated and enjoy working with people. The successful candidate will have healthcare experience working in a medical clinic and a compassionate attitude toward patients and their families. Experience with EPIC in the clinic setting is a definite plus.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the scheduling system.
- Provide medical administrative support by maintaining patient records and ensuring accuracy.

- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
- Operate multi-line phone systems to answer and direct incoming calls.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with clinic team members to ensure efficient patient flow and satisfaction.
- Utilize Epic software to input and retrieve patient information accurately.
- Assist in managing medical records and ensuring they are up-to-date and organized.
