Deer Meadows is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Med Tech in our Personal Care Home. $16.00/hour; sign on bonus! 

FULL TIME, Competitive Rates, Benefits Elligible 

In this role, you will provide direct resident care, follow established policies and procedures while providing care and respecting confidentiality at all times, and complement care of the resident area with other facility personnel, such as food service, housekeeping and activities. Schedule is 7am-3pm, FULL TIME, includes every other weekend. 

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of three months experience within the geriatric health care field
• Must have experience with Medication Administration
• Pass a Med Tech Competency Test (given at the facility)
• Current or eligible for certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Great postion for Nursing School students or Certified Medical Assistants! 
• If you do not have a Current state certification for medication administration, we can help!

As an essential worker you will be expected to:

• Help the Residents with Daily Living Activities

• Pass out Medication and document accordingly

• Provide Supervision for other staff

• Assist in transfers to and from Resident Room to Dining Room or other Acitivities

• Take direction from the Nurse, or Upper management to help in other ways.
