We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN to join our team. Our Personal Care home is an active community for senior living, join us in caring for residents residing in apartment style living. $5,000 sign on bonus! Starting Rate $28/HR, plus shift diff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must play an active role in supervising Med Techs and Caregivers in our Personal Care Home
• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
• Effectively communicate with Administrator and Director of Nursing

Must have current up to date Nursing License valid in the State of PA, PRIOR EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE LONG TERM CARE.
