Join us as a Transmission Line Engineer based in Houston, Texas or San Antonio, Texas.

You will engage in projects involving HV and extra HV AC/DC transmission lines, with potential opportunities in renewable energy infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake detailed engineering and design tasks for overhead transmission line projects, spanning from conceptual design to construction, ranging from 4kV to 500kV.
• Execute detailed designs for underground transmission line projects, with voltage specifications ranging from 69kV to 230kV.
• Generate detailed cost estimates and opinion of probable cost statements for projects with limited details.
• Develop construction and material specifications, as well as scope documents for construction tenders and contracts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 years of related design experience.
• Proficient in using PLS software suite, Sag10, AutoCAD or Microstation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for designing transmission lines in the United States, including NESC, CPUC, ASCE, RUS, etc.
