AV Technician III – Palo Alto - $75,000 - $95,000 – Onsite, Bay Area

One of my top clients is looking to onboard an AV Installation Technician to work with & support their global clients within corporate & event/broadcast environments.

AV Technician Responsibilities:

• Lead installation of audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, control systems and all presentation systems.
• Install structured cabling, including pulling, terminating and testing cat5e/6/6a, Digital Video, SDI, HDMI, DVI, DP, and audio cables.
• Upload control programs to control processors and work with remote teams to program control systems.
• Lead troubleshooting of any issue that may arise during an installation, following the break-fix model
• Identify and solve issues that impact client conference rooms, events & general day-to-day

AV Technician Requirements:

• Ideally 5 years experience of audio visual installation experience, for Corporate AV & Live Events
• AVIXA CTS, CTS-I and or CTS-D
• Strong understanding of wiring and termination skills as well as proper installation techniques of all AV equipment
• Understanding of reading/understanding of architecture, electrical, structural & AV systems drawings
• DSP Programming & Commissioning experience is required
• Breakfix troubleshooting experience
• Creston Toolbox experience is ideal
