The General Superintendent is responsible for the management of PREMIER field team members overseeing operations on-site for all phases of client construction projects including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safety. The General Superintendent is responsible for and will be held accountable for ensuring the timely completion of the projects and ensuring that the projects are constructed in strict accordance with PREMIER's safety program, plans, specifications, local codes, and PREMIER's QA/QC program. Working with PREMIER field and office personnel, the General Superintendent ensures that project specifications are being strictly followed and work is proceeding safely, on schedule, within budget, and in adherence to project standards and contract specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures PREMIER safety program is being followed at all times through visits to the jobsites, meetings with the PREMIER field team, and coordination with PREMIER's safety consultant.
Confirms that PREMIER field team is adhering to PREMIER compliance protocol requiring all trades have an executed subcontract and approved COI in a timely manner for scheduling g of the project. No work is performed on site without an executed subcontract and approved COI.
Oversees the work product and confines all PREMIER QA/QC program standards/details are being completed on all projects.
Coordinates with PREMIER field personnel to ensure field offices are set up properly with all proper paperwork and equipment and the jobsites are being kept up to the highest standards at all times (signage, clean up, site access, fence maintenance, etc.)
Ensures PREMIER field personnel are keeping field binders up to date, weekly safety/coordination meetings are being held with subcontractors, meeting minutes and look-ahead schedules are being published weekly, daily and weekly reporting is being completed, and all work is being done timely, professionally, and accurately.
Reviews project status on a weekly basis with SVP of Field Operations.
Reviews staffing forecasts with SVP of Field Operations and participates in recruiting and interviewing as required.
Assists with onboarding new PREMIER field personnel until they are deemed sufficient to work independently.
Provides mentorship, leadership, and ongoing training for all PREMIER field personnel.
I 0. Is familiar with subcontract agreements and subcontractor scopes of work. Reviews and directs work on site accordingly as required.
Is familiar with project budgets and coordinates appropriately with PREMIER office personnel regarding utilization of the same.
Schedules and coordinates regularly scheduled meetings with PREMIER field and office personnel to facilitate educational seminars.
Represents company professionally in project meetings and via all forms of communication.
Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates taking full ownership of all assignments.
