Part Time Dental Assistant Position/ Private Office: 3 days a week.

Office Location: Sugar Land.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist to provide quality care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

```Duties:```

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models

- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records

```Experience:```

- Knowledge of medical terminology, dental assisting techniques, and infection control protocols

- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation procedures

- Understanding of anatomy and dental procedures

- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and using medical imaging software

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
