We are seeking a highly-skilled Periodontist to diagnose patients and treat various conditions affecting oral health.

To be successful as a Periodontist, you should be compassionate towards patients and able to handle stressful situations. Ultimately, an outstanding oral surgeon should have excellent hand-eye coordination as well as demonstrate exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility in days/hours and locations - The need is for 8 - 10 days a month. We are flexible on days for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or Doctor of medicine in dentistry (DMD).
  • Post-graduate of a U.S. Periodontics program with a certificate to practice Periodontics
  • Appropriate state licensure
  • Proven experience working as an Periodontist

Periodontic Responsibilities:

  • Perform surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatments including scaling and root planning, gingivectomy, periodontal flap surgery, bone grafting, and implant placement
  • Diagnose and treat gum disease and other periodontal conditions
  • Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining gum health
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in periodontal research and treatment techniques
