Premier Community Healthcare Grp. is Hiring a Dentist-Spring Hill, FL Near Spring, FL

A Dentist at Premier Community HealthCare Group (Premier) provides primary and preventative dental care for patients in a community health center setting. The focus of this role is to provide general and pediatric dental care such as examinations, diagnosis, providing treatment, counseling, and educating patients in a comprehensive manner.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive full mouth exams, including examining patients’ teeth, diagnosing patients’ dental conditions, and utilization of various instruments, such as x-rays.
  • Follow all guidelines and protocols of the Dental Clinic (OSHA, charting, radiographs, etc.)
  • Educating patients on oral healthcare and establish an appropriate treatment plan.
  • Providing clinical treatments and procedures, such as (but not limited to), restorative treatment, nitrous oxide, extractions, dentures/partials and treating gum disease.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and medical history in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Keeps abreast of new developments in dentistry through structured continuing professional developments.
  • Provide training to new dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Dental Officer and other members of the dental team to provide high quality care.
  • Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
  • Keep other care team members informed when situations occur that disrupts timely patient flow through site.
  • Contribute to community give back initiatives and be an advocate for Premier’s mission
  • Adhere to patient care needs and the core values of Premier Community HealthCare to a provide best-in-class patient experience.
  • Work towards attaining department goals and drive Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI/QA).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental program.
  • Florida Licensed Dental Practitioner
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License strongly preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Prefer three (3) years of dental experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Obtain and maintain Epic certification/ annual compliance throughout employment.
