Eglinton Property Management is seeking multiple Apartment Maintenance Technicians for our apartment community in Alvin, Texas
Pay will be based on your ability and experience: $13 - $17/hour
Significant opportunities are available for promotions and wage increases after 90 days.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Experience in property maintenance is preferred; must have good knowledge of skills needed to maintain a property.
We are ideally looking for people with experience with light electrical, light plumbing, interior painting, flooring, and custodial work.
People from all experience backgrounds will be considered.

The ideal candidate will be able to:
1. Perform light electrical repairs, circuits, and installation of GFCIs, etc.
2. Complete light plumbing work such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc.
3. Replace broken glass, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, locks, etc.
4. Paint interior walls and surfaces
5. Make sure storage areas and entrances are locked and inventory is constantly updated and reported to head office
6. Completes apartment make-ready procedures such as painting; servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures; repairing old and faulty parts; replacing burnt-out light bulbs; checking/changing locks; and cleaning.
7. Assist in maintaining a well-organized maintenance shop, inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
8. Complete prep work for new move-ins including drywall/sheetrock repairs
9. Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors and head office
This is a full-time 46 hours per week position located at the apartment complex in Alvin:
Monday to Friday: 9 am to 6 pm (1-hour lunch)
Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm (1-hour lunch)
