Cadbury at Cherry Hill is a looking for a Assistant Director of Maintenance with preferably experience in the healthcare industry, more specifically, long term care and retirement community.

The Assistant Director of Maintenance is responsible for:

To assist and work under the direction of the Facilities Director to provide a safe and clean trouble free living environment for residents, staff and visitors.

To assist in maintaining HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electrical equipment in efficient operations and the principals of good engineering practices. To decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of Cadbury property.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Assist and work under the direction of the Facilities Director

· Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Maintenance Department in its policies and procedures

· Regular inspections of the facility for safety and appearance

• Assist in scheduling & ensuring completion of all maintenance & repairs
• Oversee maintenance repairs and ensure contracted services are completed in a timely manner
• Must be able to assist in maintaining HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems/equipment
• Assist in maintaining records of repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections
• Be part of the Maintenance on call rotation

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to be personable with residents, staff and visitors
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to multi-task and stay focused in stressful situations
• Solid leadership and supervision skills
• Previous Healthcare Experience required
