JOB TITLE: Solution Advisor
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Sales
EXEMPT STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Store Manager
JOB SUMMARY: The mission of the Solution Advisor is to follow the Proven Process 100% of the time, while self-generating customers through social media, previous customers, referrals, and references. The Solution Advisor sells used car inventory to the company's customers, following the process of car buying and standards of gross profit set by the Company. The Solution Advisor functions as a trusted advisor in the car buying process, providing advice and direction to the customer. The Solution Advisor works to ensure customer satisfaction through the entire buying process by following company processes & policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: | |
· Welcomes customers to dealership, following company scripts and procedures. · Assists customers in choosing a vehicle, by asking questions and listening carefully to answers. · Offers road tests to customers. Follows dealership policies & procedures to obtain the appropriate ID from the customer to protect the company from loss. · Explains the Premier Process of buying a vehicle in a clear, professional, and knowledgeable manner. · Knows and understands the concepts of equity, and negative equity and is able to explain the principles to a customer. · Works with the Desk Manager and Sales Manager/Closer during the negotiation process to gather customer information. · Works with customer in a professional manner, using the Premier Process, to negotiate the vehicle purchase with assistance from Store Manager, Desk Manager and/or Sales Manager/Closer as needed. · Can clearly describe the details of the Peace of Mind 90-day warranty provided to customers and can easily answer customer questions regarding warranty coverage details. · Participates in vehicle inspections and appraisals. · Solicits and searches for new customers on a regular basis making maximum use of various marketing tools, including company-provided Facebook page and other prospecting tools available to him/her. · Utilizes the dealership's customer follow-up & customer development systems. · Assists in lot merchandising as directed by Store Manager and/or Sales Manager/Closer. · Acts as mentor to new Solutions Advisor. · Attends and takes part in all sales team meetings when at work or when otherwise requested. · Conducts him/herself in accordance with the Company's Code of Conduct and handles all company transactions in a legal & ethical manner, following federal, state & local regulations. · Maintains a professional appearance, wearing company-approved workwear and by following the company dress code. · Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions. · Attends monthly company-wide kick-off meetings unless excused by Store Manager, in advance. · Cooperates in keeping the showroom and all other customers areas, clean and tidy. | |
