- Responsible for designing schedules for the EMS employees assuring that all shifts are filled.
- Coordinating vacation & unscheduled sick time for Ambulance operations.
- This position will also help maintain an electronic employee database that tracks key payroll and schedule information about all employees.
- Responsible for accuracy of schedule and works with employees to ensure accuracy of timecards.
- Tracks and documents sick calls, and call-offs.
- Scheduler works closely with field employees, supervisors, and managers to coordinate the schedule and payroll effort.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience conducting scheduling duties in an EMS or other system is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge and ability to work in ESO is preferred, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, teams, managers, supervisors, and external customers.
- Must have computer competency
- Must have the ability to consistently deliver outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Highly dependable and ability to meet internal deadlines consistently.
- Strong organization skills and attentiveness to detail.
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
- Must have the ability to work independently
- Minimum of one-year experience in office setting preferred.
