OVERVIEW

The Transport Driver is responsible for the loading, delivery, and unloading of fuel, propane, grain, fertilizer, feed ingredients, and/or various other products for Premier Energy to customers, and vendor facilities in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and delivery of specified products, verify loads for accuracy and deliver them as instructed by dispater
• Responsible for the maintenance and clean appearance of all assigned vehicles and equipment
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate records on sales, inventories and log books
• Always maintain safety standards
• Maintain daily communications with his/her dispatcher
• Handles customer complaints and questions, monitors, and follows up until final resolution
• Look for opportunities to sell additional products and services
• Operate within the standards set by USDOT and FMCSR

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Knowledge of basic commercial truck maintenance
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals
• Ability to follow established processes
• Basic knowledge of computers and basic software
• Ability to manage time effectively

Education:

• High school degree or equivalent
• CDL license with the appropriate endorsements

Physical Requirements:

• Able to reach, pull and lift 50 lbs
• Able to handle repetitive lift and pull motion
• Able to read documents with fine print
• Able to hear effectively on the phone
