Preform Solutions, Inc. located in Sioux Falls, SD; is a rapidly growing, well-established, company that manufactures products for the packaging industry. 

We currently have an opening for a full-time Injection Molding Process Technician position.

Preform Solutions, Inc. is looking for self-motivated and detail-oriented individual that enjoys a fast-paced production environment.

JOB DUTIES

• Mold start-ups
• Perform automation, robot set-up and trouble shooting
• Troubleshoot molding machine, conveyor, chillers dryers and other auxiliary equipment
• Color Set-up
• Quality control lines during start-up and other lines throughout the shift; make adjustments to equipment as needed to correct quality issues
• Minimize production downtime
• Reduce scrap on start-up and restarts
• Continually monitor processes and equipment, communicate with Tooling, Maintenance, and Quality departments regarding any issues
• Assist in mold change-over and tooling conversions
• Assist with maintenance-related activities
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Prior experience running and process set up of injection molding machines preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Problem solving skills
• Strong math and analytical skills required
• Experience working with hand tools and power tools
• Works well with others and a team player
• Enjoys fast-pace environment
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Detailed, organized and clean
• Dedicated, dependable as well as good attendance
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently

Hours and Compensation:

• Primary duties will be scheduled Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.
• Must be willing to work scheduled shift with flexibility to stay late and/or come in and assist on nights and weekends as needed.
• Work may be required on holidays that fall during regular work schedule with additional pay.

We offer a competitive starting wage of $22/hour plus applicable shift differential for qualifying hours
