What You'll Do:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) with PPS (Preferred Professional Services), you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• PPS is National Health Care Associates Agency at our Long-Term Care and Rehab Facility in the Glastonbury, CT Area. 
• Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information.
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery.
• Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care.

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of a Registered Nurse include:

• Valid CT State license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
