We are seeking Manufacturing Operators for our Florida operations in Bradenton, FL.
Primary Job Function:
The primary task of the Block Plant Tender is to ensure Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment, perform a wide range of duties within the plant including, but not limited to: Operating a forklift, lifting as much as 40 pounds alone, being on feet all day, following all required safety procedures and general clean-up around the plant.
Monitors the operation of concrete block manufacturing machine. Tasks include, removing and installing brick molds, cleaning all parts of the machinery. Shoveling, sweeping and raking up debris from base of machinery. Will also make adjustments to calibration of machine and make general repairs as needed to keep machine operating. Pushes blocks along rollers and arranges them to be placed onto pallets. May climb into machinery to repair parts. Climbs into and works in enclosed space when cleaning out mixer.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year previous experience Forklift experience Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Currently hiring for night shift.
