We are a well-established hospice company looking to add to our team. Preferred Hospice has 6 offices across the state of Missouri, covering over 65 counties.
We are currently looking for experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in Ozark, MO.
The LPN will:
· Assist the patient, family and caregiver in coping with issues related to death and dying.
* Perform head-to-toe assessment and vital sign check on all assigned patients for the day.
· Communicate effectively with all hospice staff and provide all support as needed.
· Provide nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support to the patient, family, and caregivers.
· Provide education to the patient, family, and caregivers.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must be currently licensed in the State of Missouri as an LPN and live within a commutable distance to the office.
Reliable transportation and car insurance required.
Hourly rate and mileage reimbursement provided. Benefits available for Full Time. Some available for Part Time. Salary listed here is done by Indeed.
Documentation per electronic medical record, mileage computation per phone app.
Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person! We can teach you hospice regulations, medications, and charting. We are looking for nurses who know how to love and provide hands-on care to patients facing a terminal illness.
