Full Time Long Term Care Skilled Nursing

Marvin and Betty Danto Healthcare Center is looking to build its team of Registered Nurse RNs.

As a Nursing TEAM member, you will be an integral partner in providing the best possible care for our residents.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing care to residents by performing a variety of treatments.
• Performing personal resident care duties.
• Administering medications to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with our policy and procedures.
• Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants, making assignments and enforcing facility policies.
• Assisting in training new personnel.
• Accurately recording resident behaviors in clinical records.

Qualifications and Skills

Must be licensed in the state of Michigan and pass a background check.

The Danto Team is looking for an independent experienced nurse that will help supervise the night/afternoon shift, monitor wound care completion help aide with assessments/second skin assessments on new admissions, review new admissions, and tend to all customer service needs in the facility. The supervisor will also ensure that night shift is completing w/c cleaning schedule, medication room audits, Medication/treatment cart cleaning and ensure all proper logs are completed nightly by staff. 

This postion is a Monday-Friday postion 8/hr shift. The postion is flexiable and negoitable for possiblty of a Mon-Thursday 10/hr shift pending facility needs. The postion will include a 1 day a week on call rotation and every 4th weekend pending on facility.
