Job Summary:
Preferred Care at Home of Northwest New Jersey in Landing, NJ is looking for compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to join our team. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare role in Morris Plains, New Jersey. Shifts, 4 hour, Thursday & Friday, 11:30a to 3:30p. As a Certified Home Health Aide, you will provide personalized home care services to clients in their own homes. You will be an integral part of our team, providing care and support to help our clients maintain their independence and live their best lives.
Compensation & Benefits:

- Hourly compensation of $17 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or wellbeing to the supervisor
- Help clients with mobility and transfers
- Establish and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients
- Foster positive relationships with clients and their families
- Follow all care plans and help to implement any changes as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Requirements:
- Active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CHHA in a home care or assisted living setting
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
