Job Summary:
Preferred Auto Dealerships is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Ford Certified Technician to join our team. As a Full Time Ford Certified Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on Ford vehicles. This position is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in the auto industry and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $75,400 to $166,400 per year, paid semi-monthly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Ford vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical problems
• Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work performed
• Communicate with Service Advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and provide cost estimates
• Continuously update knowledge and skills by attending training sessions and keeping up-to-date with new technology and techniques
• Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations
Requirements:
• Must be a Ford Certified Technician
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
• Knowledge of Ford vehicles and their systems
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and perform vehicle inspections
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
