Survey Technician/Scan Tech I

Wage: $22 - $24 per hour

Fulltime position: 40 hours per week

FLSA: Exempt

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Reports to Survey Manager

Essential Functions:

• Ability to perform physical labor (i.e., strenuous walking, and lifting catch basin grates/manhole covers, hauling equipment) and physically maneuver around construction sites, including accessing excavations, trenches, structures, and other disturbed areas; Capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license
• A minimum of 1-3 experience including topographic, construction staking, boundary, and data collection is a plus

• Ability to receive and follow directions
• Familiar with boundary surveys and construction layout
• Developed organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities:

• Operate various survey equipment (GPS, Robotics, and Total Stations) 
• Ability to work as a team, be self-motivated, and organized
• Possess communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients
• Attend required company training programs
