Precision Specialty Flooring is looking for a Superintendent/ Foreman to manage Multi-Family Commercial Construction jobsites within the Greater Dallas/ Ft Woth Metroplex. Full Time Entry Level or Experienced individuals may apply.
Applicants can be Entry Level or Experienced with industry knowledge. Salary is between $50,000- $70,000 depending on experience along with bonuses based on job profitability. Superintendents hired to the position will have the potential for growth with on the job training. Precision is a Flooring Subcontractor based out of Addison, TX, but does commercial construction across the state of TX. Precision has been consistently working in the multifamily industry with repeat clients and recently been awarded a larger quantity of jobs than can be effectively run without internal growth.
Precision is looking to fill the Superintendent role with an ambitious individual with great work ethic and integrity. While no experience is needed it is required that any gaps in knowledge will constitute more diligence in learning industry standards. The individual must be someone who takes pride in their work.
We want a hard-working individual with a positive attitude and respect for the responsibility that they are given.
We are looking for someone to start as a Superintendent and grow into a position where they can be the primary representative of Precision at the jobsite.
Any construction, flooring, handiwork, engineering, management or applicable skills are preferred.
Superintendent Job Description
Basic Overview of a Superintendent's Role and Responsibilities:
Meet with PM to review upcoming projects
Thoroughly review plans and understand full scope of work
Meet with Subcontractors and assign project work accordingly
Fully communicate expectations with each crew lead
Express quality of workmanship and character that Precision attains to meet
Hand out Work Orders to Crew Leads BEFORE work begins
Daily communicate with Subcontractor Crew Lead
Oversee each project by staying in constant communication with subs, walking jobs,
keeping crews on track, verifying that crews are punching out work before progressing
to next level or area
Specifically walk Sub's invoice that is turned in on Fridays and check work for
completion. Make notes accordingly so Sub is paid correctly
Attend weekly Jobsite meetings
Coordinate weekly Toolbox Talks for each jobsite
Make sure all Subcontractors have attended Orientation Safety Training prior to working
on jobsite(s)
Communicate weekly with PM regarding progress of projects, changes in schedule, etc.
Document any Change Orders needed with pictures, forms, etc.
Make sure all new Subcontractor Crews have all necessary paperwork completed before
starting project- Subcontract Agreement, W9, Worker's Comp Form, Certificate of
Insurance, Copy of Driver's License
Communicate with Project Coordinator regarding needed materials on jobsite - make
sure to plan according to each project draw schedule
Keep projects running smoothly - stay organized - keep crews organized
Make sure crews maintain a clean jobsite DAILY
Unload deliveries when needed
