Software Tester/QA Analyst III

Hybrid | Richmond, VA | 3-4 Days a Week Onsite

US Citizenship Required - Must have a valid Drivers License

Summary

Our client is is a leading application Engineering Consulting firm in the Washington, D.C. metro region specializing in Management Services, Technology Solutions and Facilities Services. They partner with and assist Federal, State and local government agencies; private sector Energy Services Companies (ESCOs); and Commercial entities in the design and implementation of their various Engineering and Technology related projects. Additionally, they are able to leverage an engineering team with proven technology industry experience that resulted in multi-million-dollar contracts within federal government, state & local government clients!

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for a Software Tester/QA Analyst III to join their team! The individual will participate in an agile team comprising VDH and third-party members charged with developing an Agency Grant Management System using the Microsoft Dynamics platform.

• Test software releases and provide input on appropriate release schedule(s)
• Fully participate in the agile development process, including requirements gathering, business analysis, stakeholder interview, development discussions, all required standups, etc.
• Fully document all test cases, scripts, and other artifacts created
• Participate, as this project allows, in other testing activities underway

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Software QA Testing required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile Development or Testing required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics required

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Business Analysis and Federal or State Grant Management is highly desired
• Minimum of 3 years of Financial Management experience is preferred, but not required

Education/Certification Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

Drivers License Requirements

• Applicants selected must have an appropriate driver's license valid in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
