Position: Ultrasound Technologist
Shift Schedule: 8AM - 5PM & 3PM -9:30PM,
Mon thru Fri
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Job Type: Per Diem
Start date: ASAP
Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Pay: 45$-50$ PER HOUR
Equipment: US Machine: ? GE Login E9 / Philips / Other
Job description:
Perform diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images for interpretation.
  • Set up and adjust all equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
  • Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
  • Perform routine and complex studies and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.
  • Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning.
  • Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
  • Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history).
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in department.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Ultrasound tech with 3 years of experience in all these exams.
  • BLS
  • ARDMS and/or RVT are a plus.
  • Perform general, vascular, ob/gyn.
  • Must have ARDMS certifications.
Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Experience:
Ultrasound tech with 3 years of experience in all these exams.
  • Perform general, vascular, ob/gyn exams.
