SummaryTo ensure the proper operation of all production related equipment, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic systems.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery (repair or replace worn or defective parts, motors and controls as necessary)
- Repair, troubleshoot and maintain Fineblanking presses and production equipment
- Maintain all pumps, AC/heating units, presses, tumblers, and sanding equipment
- Maintain Cooling Tower, Parts washer and driers
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic issues
- Respond to equipment stoppage, mechanical breakdowns
- Ensure proper documentation and information is recorded on a daily basis, including but not limited to production equipment
- Take active part in training and helping others as required
- Participate in continuous improvement teams as required
- 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
- Technical, vocational, college degree or equivalent work experience required
- Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical skills needed
- Knowledge of robotic motion controls a plus
- Knowledge of chillers and air compressors a plus
