Job Description: IT Architect

Essential Responsibilities:

• Architectural Oversight:

  • Lead the design and management oversight of Identity and Access capabilities within cloud hosting environments.
  • Manage the oversight of identity and access systems and technologies.

• Problem Solving:

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for Identity and Access Management issues.

• Modernization Projects:

  • Drive projects to modernize Identity and Access Management controls.

• Governance and Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain governance documentation for Identity and Access Management practices.

• Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Identity technologies and contribute to technology decision-making.

• Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure cohesive support and strategic alignment.

• Consultation Services:

  • Provide consultation to support security operations and intake processes.

• Merger and Acquisition Support:

  • Assist with access management oversight for customer connections and potential corporate changes.

• Roadmap Development:

  • Lead the development and management of Identity and Access Management strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with cloud security controls and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of modern identity technologies and governance practices.
• Understanding of industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CSF.
• Familiarity with architectural components and their relationships.
• Experience integrating Identity and Access Management into secure operations.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT or related fields.
• Preferred certifications in cloud architecture and security (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM).
