Precision Optical Technologies is a systems engineering and integration company focused on optical transceivers and related active / passive components. We value the importance of delivering a high-quality product that performs reliably throughout your network. From the first point of contact through network replication and testing our expert engineers work closely with our customers to identify potential problems, and solutions. As we continue to grow we are looking to expand our production team with the addition of a Production Specialist.

The Production Specialist will perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities to ensure orders are processed and completed in a timely and accurately manner. A typical day will consist of matching parts with orders in our ERP system, labeling, programing, packing, and shipping orders.

Essential Functions:

• Programing parts for orders using built production applications and specific tuning boxes
• Labeling parts to match order requirements
• Utilize ERP to track production status
• Prepare, and pack orders to be shipped per customer requests 
• Other Duties as assigned 

Qualifications

 Skills / Qualifications (Competencies):

• Demonstrated ability to take a process-oriented approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of Microsoft office
• Excellent attention to detail

Education & Experience:

• Minimum High School Diploma equivalent
• Familiarity with ERP systems preferred
