Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of various precision measuring instruments. This is a vital role in maintaining the quality and performance of our equipment.
Duties:
- Calibrate and adjust precision measuring instruments such as gauges, meters, and indicators
- Perform tests and inspections to verify accuracy and functionality
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment
- Maintain calibration records and documentation
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve calibration processes
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers
Skills:
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of calibration application software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage equipment
- Experience in avionic aerospace service tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education:
- HS Graduate or Equivalent
- Technical Schooling (Military or Commercial)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read and write technically
- Must have good vision with color determination (naturally or with corrective lenses)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work 8:00am to 5:00pm (overtime offered, but not mandatory)
- Must have license and be comfortable working on customer sites when required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities
