We are looking for a motivated Router Operator I with the willingness to learn. No experience is needed. We can train you! The job will include setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery. You’ll ensure the efficiency of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. Job Description

Schedule:

The current work schedule is 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday. Also have 2nd Shift 4:30pm- 3:00am Subject to change at discretion of employer according to production.

Pay Rate Range: $14.00 – 15.00 Hourly

Job Summary

o Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.

o Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.

Essential Functions of Job

• Sets up router table to ensure proper part location and vacuum hold down.
• Starts router and monitors dimensions of processed wood stock to verify conformance to specifications using ruler and caliper.
• Inspects materials before and after cutting.
• Off bears cut product.
• Pushes stock to / from machine.

Education and Qualifications

• One to three years of experience operating a CNC router in an industrial environment.
• Able to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Constant standing. frequent walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending at waist.
• Able to read and understand a shop tag.
• Able to read a caliper and tape measure.
