Precision Images is in a fast-paced sign and visual communications company that is involved in the sales, service and installation of custom graphics and signage. We are hiring a Color Production Specialist.

As a Color Production Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of sign and wide format print production. In addition to hands-on duties, you will be responsible for operating wide format printers, a flatbed printer and vinyl cutter. This position will require someone who is organized, has an eye for detail, and the ability to focus on multiple projects at once. The successful candidate is creative, self-motivated, deadline driven and a team player who can work in a fast-paced environment. Previous sign experience is highly desirable. Please note: some design may be needed however this is not a design position. We are hiring for print production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Sign production and minimal sign design as needed.

· Follow work order instructions to produce signs and graphics.

· Operate wide format printers, flatbed printer and vinyl cutter.

· Coordinate printing ques of high-volume orders in conjunction with custom orders.

· Prepare substrates for production, which may include measuring, cutting, cleaning.

· Perform quality assurance checks both pre- and post-production.

· Perform routine machine maintenance on printing and cutting equipment, and minor repairs when necessary.

· Manually cut media for smaller jobs that do not require CNC routing.

Experience/Skills/Qualification:

· High School Diploma (or equivalent), additional training or experience in graphic design or Pre-press a plus.

· Proficient with computer software programs: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office (current versions).

· Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers.

· Able to work well in a fast-paced environment to output high-volume, high-quality work.

· Able to stand for long periods of time.

· Able to lift 50 or more pounds.

· Installation experience with vinyl, wall covering, and/or Environmental Graphics are a bonus.

· Sign-shop experience a plus.

Although this position is supervised by production management, daily direction may come from Display and Signage Senior Staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
