Quality Inspector:

Responsibilities

• Compliance with all quality system procedures and Company safety requirements
• Advocating quality principles and practices
• Good housekeeping
• Inspection of product at Receiving and Production (In-process and Final) and distribution of daily inspection activity reports
• Working with the Material Review Board to resolve customer and supplier quality issues
• Assisting with the development of inspection plans
• Complete First Article Inspections
• Complete shop floor audits
• Assisting in supplier audits when needed
• Review and verification of supplier submitted First Article parts and reports
• Train employees as needed

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• A minimum of 1 (one) year experience in the inspection field or manufacturing using standard inspection equipment and prints to determine conformance to requirements

Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twisting
• Must have vision correctable to 20/20
• Ability to distinguish color
• Must be able to interpret complex part drawings, including GD & T
• Understand the use and limitations of standard inspection measuring and test equipment
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be available for all shifts
• Advanced Gage knowledge
