Uses computer/MRP to track, log, verify, and report. Follows shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules, and related requirements. Packs or wraps finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight, and material conformance to stated identifications. Logs receipts into system, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. Reports materials shipped and bills of lading. Posts weight and shipping charges and routes goods. Shift:Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm Position Responsibilities:
Prepare flight-packaged parts, kits, and materials for shipment
Stage and prepare shipping materials, crates, and pallets
Prepare non-flight goods
Prepare shipping paperwork including verifying documentation, packaging conformance to product requirements, shipper manifest and bills of lading
Load and unload delivery trucks including verifying package and parts counts, package and/or content damage, completeness of paperwork, and proper disposal of spent packaging materials
Complete shipping/receiving reports
Support audits, lean, and quality initiatives as required
Familiarize oneself with Primus processes and procedures including applicable MRP, Inventory System, and Business Quality Management System (BQMS) procedures as applicable
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Familiar with computerized MRP/Inventory systems
Understand and adhere to proper material storage requirements
Understand basic Primus manufacturing process and how Inventory control interacts with upstream and downstream functions
Blueprint reading and basic math skills
Good computer skills and ability to query, monitor, and input MRP system data
Able to be certified with/and operate a forklift and picker
Maintain inventory storage in a clean, orderly manner
Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
Willingness to learn and, as required, help and/or train others
Experience with ERP systems; Syteline preferred
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
1 in Shipping/Receiving role preferred
For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $16.50 to $24.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
