SummaryJob DescriptionWork in collaboration with the Plant Manager and Division EHS Director to develop a world class Environmental, Health, and Safety culture within the Revert Group. This position is responsible for working with all levels of the organization to:
  • Drive a safe working environment
  • Engage team members to develop solutions to complex EHS problems
  • Employ behavior-based safety
  • Manage incident reporting (accident pyramid)
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulations.
Essential FunctionsProvide strategic direction for facility leadership to impact injury reduction activities to decrease Revert Group- US’s recordable incident rate to achieve a world class recordable rate of
  • Drive implementation of key life safety programs (i.e. LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space, etc.).
  • Identify and implement prior injury and significant event solutions through-out group to facilities that have similar opportunities to prevent recurrence.
  • Be a strategic partner to the organizational leadership team to drive EHS accountability and support new business growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and State Environmental Regulations (multi state including California.
  • Grow behavior-based safety using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Understand and demonstrate compliance with all environmental permits, including Title V Air Permit, EPCRA Reports, and TSCA reporting.
  • Performs all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct and SOX guidelinesEducation and Experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in an EHS related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Preferred.
