We are seeking an Editor, to support our customer at Patrick Space Force Base, in Satellite Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties and meet the following qualifications.

Duties:

• Provides support and assistance to government staff in writing and preparing final reports, papers and briefings at an executive, Service Academy, or Congressional level.
• Assists in gathering, analyzing, and composing technical information required to prepare initial drafts of these documents utilizing the format standards of previous DEOMI Reports.
• All writing shall be done according to the publication manual of H&R’s Publication Guide and be consistent with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA).
• Ensures the use of proper technical terminology and translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be utilized by technical and non-technical personnel.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree; Additional experience may be substituted for degree level.

Required Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience writing for a senior level organization.

Key Expertise: Areas of key expertiseinclude being familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Demonstrated understanding of the publication manual of H&R’s Publication Guide and be consistent with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA).
