Must have at least 12 Early Childhood Education units, be at least 18 years of age, live scan fingerprint clearance, criminal record and TB clearance, have at least 1 year experience working in a licensed preschool. Position will be assigned to 2-year old class.

The Preschool teacher is responsible for supervising and providing a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program in accordance with all California State Licensing and Precious Time Christian Preschool policies and procedures. Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing a program to teach young children. Needs to be respectful of children and parents, and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained. Teacher develops and implements a developmentally appropriate school program for young children. Must have proficient knowledge in areas of child development and early education theories and practices, safe and appropriate activities for children, relevant legislation , policies and procedures to ensure that children are safe and supervised at all times. Must demonstrate skills in team building, supervision, analytical and problem solving, decision making, effective communication, teaching, stress and time management. Active participant of a Christian church. Also demonstrate respect, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, flexibility, sound work ethics. Assist in the maintaining program administration. Perform other duties as required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
