This is a full-time position that works 8-hour shifts – 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. The schedule may vary, so flexibility is important. The pay is $11-$15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus to candidates who have completed their DCF 45 hour training. This position is onsite at our center located: 2162 Julian Ave NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905.
The Toddler Teacher plans and implements curriculum for their 1 year-old age group, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children. You’ll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children.
What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Follow all facility policies and state regulations
• Maintain a personal, professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
What We Need from You:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 45 DCF hours required
• Pass the DCF background check
• At least 1 year of professional early childhood training/experience 
• CPR and First Aid Certification required
• Fire Extinguisher Training
• Ability to obtain necessary certifications and/or Licensures within 30 days of employment
