Pratt Larson is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Shipping Team Member to join our Studio Team. Members of the Shipping team are responsible for review of all work orders for color and surface quality and preparation for shipment. This position is accountable for completing and packaging orders accurately and efficiently for on time delivery.

Key Accountabilities

• Inspects tile for the following: correct form, size and shape, proper color and surface quality
• Reports tile quality discrepancies to the Shipping Team Manager
• Prioritizes work by due dates and assists other shippers on priority work
• Packages completed orders as instructed with accuracy and efficiency
• Communicates with department managers and employees when additional work is needed to complete and expedite orders
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management
• Maintains a clean work environment and participates in clean up and maintenance activities
• Participates in team and companywide meetings

Skills and Competencies

• Zero to 2 years experience in quality control and shipping
• Strong detail oriented organizational skills
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Flexibility and ability to perform functions efficiently in a changing environment with multiple deadlines
• Ability to see color variances

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position and to move about. The employee is frequently required to operate various manufacturing equipment. The employee is regularly required to observe, identify, detect and communicate by exchanging information and expressing themselves. The employee may occasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force and, with assistance, move, transport and/or position up to 100 pounds.
