Prasada Center for Wellbeing Inc is Hiring a Developmental Disabilities Service Line Manager Near Arlington, NJ

Prasada Center For Wellbeing's Developmental Disabilities Service Line Manager will be a dedicated and experienced individual who will oversee multiple programs aimed at providing comprehensive support and care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These include our respite and community based service lines for children and adults as well as overseeing Prasada Center’s Day Habilitation program for young adults. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing a range of services, ensuring the highest quality of care, and promoting the well-being and independence of individuals served.
Responsibilities:
Program Oversight:
  • Manage and oversee multiple programs designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to enhance service quality.
Client Advocacy and Support
  • Advocate for the rights and interests of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Provide support to clients and their families, addressing their concerns and ensuring that their needs are met effectively.
  • Collaborate with state government departments, community resources and other service providers to enhance the overall support network for clients. This includes working with the Children's System of Care and the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
Staff Management and Training:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of dedicated professionals involved in the delivery of services.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance staff performance.
  • Facilitate ongoing training to ensure staff members are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills in the field.
Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures to ensure that services meet established standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve quality issues.
Community Engagement:
  • Foster positive relationships with community partners, local agencies, and advocacy groups.
  • Represent the agency at community events and forums to promote awareness and understanding of intellectual and developmental disabilities services.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to agency leadership, highlighting program achievements, challenges, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities services.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience - 2 years experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and technology for documentation and reporting.
