Shifts:
In general we offer 4 and 12 hour shifts for our RN and LPN positions. We have openings for full-time (30 hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.

  • Days: 6am-2:30 pm
  • Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm
  • Nights: 10pm-6:30am

Role:

We are seeking a dedicated RN - Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our [Insert Community Site Name] team! The PRN Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the Community, as well as effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • The RN ensures provision of quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on acuity of residents.
  • The RN makes daily rounds to each resident to ascertain the residents condition and comfort.
  • The RN follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
  • The RN follows infection control guidelines.
  • The RN initiates procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
  • The RN assesses and evaluates resident change of condition and institute appropriate interventions.
  • The RN communicates with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow through.

Qualifications:

  • The PRN RN must be a graduate from an accredited school, be currently licensed in Kansas without encumbrance, and is responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEU requirements.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of previous nursing experience in Long Term Care and/or a Skilled Nursing Facility, but not required.
  • Must possess a current CPR certification.
