Job TitleStudent Hourly Assistant | Health Services Agency Prairie View A&M University Department Office of Disability Services Proposed Minimum Salary$15.00 hourly Job LocationPrairie View, Texas Job TypeStudent Worker Job Description The Student Hourly Assistant, under general supervision, will assist the Office of Disability Services with day-to-day operations of the office, with preparation of upcoming programming and events, and will gain knowledge in the area of ADA regulations Responsibilities: Assist the director with special projects and assignments Manage ODS files Orchestrate a series of programs for the upcoming school year Perform other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: Presently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University for at least nine (9) graduate or six (6) undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done. Must be in good academic standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college; minimum 2.5 GPA No prior experience necessary For work eligibility during a summer term, a student must be enrolled for at least three (3) graduate or undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done or preregistered at least six (6) undergraduate semester hours or nine (9) graduate semester hours for the upcoming fall term. Preferred Education and Experience: Experience with or majoring in Nursing, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or Criminal Justice Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of ADA Microsoft Suite Computer data entry PowerPoint Job Posting Close Date: Until filled.
