Position involves deliveries (locally & statewide), loading & unloading materials, staging orders, & other general warehouse duties as assigned. CDL Class A preferred with 6 months of driving experience. Forklift experience a plus but will train & certify. Concrete or construction background helpful but not required. Hours are mostly M-F. Normal business hours are 8am - 5pm, some trips may require earlier or later start/end times. Candidate must be comfortable working on and maintaining fleet vehicles and capable of basic repairs of construction rental equipment as needed.
Duties
maintain daily logs or records
communicate visually or verbally
drive automobile, van, or light truck
estimate time needed for project
maintain records, reports, or files
make decisions
modify work procedures or processes to meet deadlines
move or lift heavy objects
provide customer service
use time management techniques
use two-way radio or mobile phone
work as a team member
operate forklift- load/unload/stack containers and pallets
compare shipment contents to record determine loaded cargo
complies with regulations or specifications follow traffic laws
read maps/use geographic positioning system (GPS) use local or regional geographical knowledge to transportation
verify cargo against shipping papers
Mechanical maintenance of vehicles and construction equipment

Standard drivers license required, CDL preferred
